[ 1 ] + [ a d d ] Path. 07 02 | 08 17 pm [ mood  x  exhausted ] [ music  x  music of the dead ] We had to build a path today, so people can get off the bus and walk down the path. Hurray. So we did exercises with Rick (the ex-Marine, Andrew's site leader) for an hour. They weren't all too bad but we had to do about three hundred thousand arm circles which killed me. Then we went outside for an eternity and did the following: laid down cardboard boxes over grass between wooden posts, shaved about 100 eight-foot long cedar logs, carried them to the appropriate spot, had to use a sledgehammer to nail in rebars, spread mulch across it--and let me tell you, none of this was fun, none of this was easy, and I have the sunburn from Hell. I am so fucking tired. Thankfully it's FRIDAY and I do not have to get up at the asscrack of dawn! I have to get my S.S. card this weekend. :\ If I don't provide it, I won't get paid on the 19th. They also cut out about five people today for being snobs. Seriously, we do exercises in the grass and all week it has been rainy and muddy and wet down there and these bitches were all on the pavement not doing it down in the dirtiness with the rest of us.
